ABSTRACT: Innovations in Adaptive Learning Technologies for Personalized Vocational Training are crucial for addressing diverse learner needs and improving training outcomes. This study investigated the implementation and effectiveness of adaptive learning technologies in vocational education. The objectives were: to identify current adaptive learning technologies used in vocational training, to evaluate their impact on personalized learning and student performance, and to identify challenges and best practices for implementation. A survey design was chosen for its efficiency in collecting comprehensive data from a large number of respondents, facilitating detailed analysis. A sample size of 280 vocational training students and instructors was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include those familiar with adaptive learning technologies. The case study was the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State. Findings indicated that adaptive learning technologies significantly improved personalized learning experiences, enhanced student engagement, and boosted performance by tailoring content to individual needs. However, challenges such as high implementation costs and the need for technical expertise were noted. It was recommended that vocational institutions should invest in adaptive learning technologies, provide training for educators on their use, and seek partnerships with technology providers to reduce costs and enhance implementation.
