ABSTRACT: Innovations in Online Vocational Education Platforms for Remote Learning are essential for adapting to the increasing demand for flexible learning options. This study investigated the effectiveness of online vocational education platforms in providing remote learning opportunities. The objectives were: to identify current innovations in online vocational platforms, to assess the impact of these platforms on learning outcomes, and to determine the challenges and benefits of remote vocational education. A survey design was employed due to its capability to collect comprehensive data from a large number of respondents efficiently. A sample size of 300 vocational students and educators using online platforms was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The case study focused on the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja. Findings indicated that online vocational platforms significantly improved access to education, provided flexible learning schedules, and enhanced the quality of vocational training through interactive tools and resources. However, issues such as internet connectivity and digital literacy were identified as barriers. It was recommended that institutions should invest in improving digital infrastructure, provide training for both educators and students on effective use of online platforms, and continuously update the content to align with industry standards.
