ABSTRACT: The Impact of Career Academies on Vocational Student Outcomes is a vital area of research for understanding their role in enhancing educational and career prospects. This study examined how career academies influence vocational student outcomes. The objectives were: to evaluate the academic performance of students in career academies, to assess the impact of career academies on students' career readiness, and to determine the long-term benefits of career academies on employment outcomes. A survey design was adopted due to its effectiveness in gathering detailed information from a large group of respondents, facilitating a comprehensive analysis. A sample size of 300 students and graduates from career academies was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include those with relevant experience. The case study was the Government Science and Technical College, Garki, Abuja. Findings revealed that career academies significantly improved academic performance, enhanced career readiness, and provided long-term employment benefits for students. It was recommended that educational policymakers should expand the implementation of career academies, provide adequate resources and support for these programs, and encourage partnerships with industries to enhance the practical training of students.
