ABSTRACT: This study examines the effectiveness of financial literacy education in vocational training programs, focusing on its impact on students' financial management skills and economic stability. The objectives were to (1) assess the current state of financial literacy education in vocational training, (2) evaluate the impact of financial literacy on students' personal and professional financial decisions, and (3) propose enhancements to financial literacy curricula in vocational education. A survey design was chosen to collect data from vocational students and educators, providing insights into their experiences and perceptions of financial literacy education. The sample size comprised 220 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to ensure representation from various vocational fields. The case study was conducted in Anambra State, Nigeria, a region with a growing focus on vocational education. Findings indicated that financial literacy education was limited and often not integrated into vocational curricula. Students who received financial literacy training demonstrated better financial management skills and greater economic stability. Recommendations included integrating comprehensive financial literacy modules into vocational programs, providing ongoing professional development for educators in financial literacy, and partnering with financial institutions to offer practical financial education workshops.
