ABSTRACT: This study explores innovations in adaptive learning technologies for vocational students, focusing on their potential to personalize learning experiences and improve educational outcomes. The objectives were to (1) identify the current use of adaptive learning technologies in vocational education, (2) assess the impact of these technologies on student learning and engagement, and (3) propose strategies to enhance the integration of adaptive learning technologies in vocational training. A survey design was employed to gather data from students, educators, and technology developers, providing a comprehensive analysis of adaptive learning practices. The sample size comprised 180 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to ensure relevant experience with adaptive technologies. The case study focused on Anambra State, Nigeria, known for its educational innovation. Findings revealed that adaptive learning technologies significantly enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes by providing personalized learning pathways. However, challenges such as high implementation costs and the need for technical training for educators were noted. Recommendations included increasing investment in adaptive learning technologies, providing professional development for educators, and fostering partnerships with technology companies to ensure the effective integration of adaptive learning tools in vocational education.
