ABSTRACT: This study investigates the impact of COVID-19 on vocational education delivery and outcomes, examining the disruptions and adaptations made during the pandemic. The objectives were to (1) assess the extent to which COVID-19 affected the delivery of vocational education, (2) evaluate the changes in educational outcomes due to the pandemic, and (3) identify the strategies employed to mitigate these impacts. A survey design was employed to capture the experiences of students, educators, and administrators during the pandemic. The sample size comprised 250 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to include those directly involved in vocational education during COVID-19. The case study focused on Lagos State, Nigeria, an area significantly affected by the pandemic. Findings revealed that COVID-19 drastically disrupted traditional vocational training, leading to a shift towards online and hybrid models. Educational outcomes were mixed, with some students benefiting from flexible learning options while others struggled due to limited access to digital resources. Strategies such as blended learning approaches and enhanced digital infrastructure were employed to mitigate these impacts. It was recommended that vocational institutions continue to invest in digital infrastructure and develop flexible learning models to enhance resilience against future disruptions.
