Abstract: Strategies for promoting digital citizenship in vocational training are crucial for preparing students to navigate ethical, legal, and social responsibilities in digital environments. This study examines effective strategies for integrating digital citizenship education into vocational curricula, focusing on its impact on students' digital literacy, online safety, and responsible technology use. Objectives include assessing current practices in digital citizenship education, evaluating students' perceptions of digital citizenship skills development, and identifying challenges and opportunities in promoting digital ethics in vocational settings. A survey research design is chosen to gather data from 300 participants, including vocational educators, students, and digital literacy experts, using purposive sampling to ensure representation from diverse vocational sectors in Kaduna State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions with comprehensive digital citizenship programs, showcasing effective pedagogical approaches and their impact on student behavior and attitudes towards technology. Findings indicate that digital citizenship education enhances students' awareness of online risks, fosters ethical decision-making, and prepares them to engage responsibly in digital communities. Recommendations emphasize embedding digital citizenship into vocational curriculum frameworks, providing professional development for educators in digital ethics, and collaborating with industry partners to promote safe and ethical technology use among vocational students.
