Abstract: Innovations in assessing ethical reasoning in vocational settings are essential for developing ethical decision-making skills among future professionals. This study explores emerging assessment methods that evaluate ethical reasoning abilities in vocational education, focusing on their alignment with industry standards and ethical principles. Objectives include evaluating the effectiveness of innovative assessment tools for ethical reasoning, exploring educators' and students' perceptions of ethical dilemmas in vocational contexts, and identifying best practices for integrating ethical education into vocational curricula. A survey research design is chosen to gather data from 200 participants, including vocational educators, students, and ethics experts, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across technical disciplines in Enugu State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions known for their progressive approaches to ethical education, showcasing effective assessment strategies and outcomes. Findings indicate that innovative ethical reasoning assessments improve students' ethical awareness, decision-making capabilities, and professional integrity in vocational settings. Recommendations emphasize incorporating case studies, role-playing scenarios, and ethical discussions into vocational training, providing faculty training in ethical pedagogy, and establishing ethics committees to oversee ethical education initiatives in vocational institutions.
