Abstract: The effectiveness of industry advisory boards in shaping vocational curricula is pivotal for ensuring educational programs meet industry standards and workforce needs. This study investigates the impact of industry advisory boards on vocational education, focusing on their role in curriculum development, skills alignment, and industry-relevant learning experiences. Objectives include assessing the influence of advisory boards on curriculum design and implementation, evaluating stakeholders' perceptions of advisory board effectiveness, and identifying best practices for maximizing advisory board contributions to vocational programs. A survey research design is justified for its ability to gather data from 300 participants, including vocational educators, industry representatives, and advisory board members, using purposive sampling to ensure representation from diverse vocational sectors in Anambra State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions with successful advisory board engagements, illustrating collaborative efforts and their impact on program quality and student outcomes. Findings indicate that industry advisory boards enhance curriculum relevance, facilitate industry partnerships, and improve graduates' employability through real-world learning experiences. Recommendations emphasize strengthening advisory board governance structures, enhancing industry engagement in curriculum review processes, and fostering continuous dialogue between educators and industry stakeholders to sustain effective collaborations in vocational education.
