Abstract: The role of cultural sensitivity training in vocational education is crucial for preparing students to work effectively in diverse and multicultural workplaces. This study examines the importance of cultural competence in vocational training, focusing on its influence on workplace interactions, client relations, and career success. Objectives include evaluating the integration of cultural sensitivity training into vocational curricula, assessing students' perceptions of cultural competency development, and identifying challenges and opportunities in promoting cultural awareness in vocational settings. A survey research design is chosen to gather data from 220 participants, including vocational educators, students, and industry professionals, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across vocational disciplines in Enugu State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions known for their comprehensive cultural sensitivity programs, showcasing effective training approaches and outcomes. Findings reveal that cultural sensitivity training enhances students' ability to navigate cultural differences, communicate effectively across diverse contexts, and build inclusive workplace environments. Recommendations emphasize embedding cultural competence into vocational learning outcomes, providing faculty training in multicultural education, and fostering cross-cultural experiences through international partnerships and experiential learning opportunities.
