Abstract: The effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) in vocational training simulations is pivotal for providing immersive and interactive learning experiences that enhance skill acquisition and retention. This study examines the impact of VR technology on vocational education, focusing on its effectiveness in simulating real-world scenarios, improving technical skills, and enhancing student engagement. Objectives include evaluating the benefits of VR simulations in vocational training, assessing students' perceptions of VR learning experiences, and identifying challenges and opportunities in integrating VR into vocational curricula. A survey research design is justified for its ability to gather data from 220 participants, including vocational educators and students, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across technical disciplines in Lagos State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions at the forefront of VR integration in curriculum, showcasing innovative applications and educational outcomes. Findings reveal that VR simulations significantly enhance students' technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and readiness for industry demands. Recommendations emphasize investment in VR infrastructure, faculty training in VR pedagogy, and continuous evaluation of VR applications to optimize learning outcomes in vocational education.
