Abstract: The role of financial literacy education in vocational training is crucial for equipping students with essential financial management skills necessary for career success and economic independence. This study investigates the integration and effectiveness of financial literacy education in vocational curricula, focusing on its impact on students' financial knowledge, behaviors, and decision-making capabilities. Objectives include evaluating the incorporation of financial literacy into vocational programs, assessing students' perceptions of financial education outcomes, and identifying best practices for integrating financial literacy across vocational disciplines. A survey research design is chosen to gather data from 250 participants, including vocational educators and students, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across different vocational sectors and educational levels in Abuja. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions known for their comprehensive financial education programs, illustrating their approaches and outcomes in enhancing students' financial competencies. Findings reveal that financial literacy education improves students' understanding of personal finance, budgeting skills, and financial planning capabilities, contributing to their overall career readiness. Recommendations emphasize curriculum standardization in financial literacy, faculty training in financial education pedagogy, and collaboration with financial institutions to enhance practical learning experiences in vocational training.
