Abstract: The impact of socio-political factors on vocational education policy is a critical aspect of educational governance in Nigeria, influencing policy formulation and implementation. This study examines how socio-political dynamics shape vocational education policies, focusing on stakeholders' perspectives and policy outcomes. Objectives include analyzing the influence of political agendas on vocational curriculum development, assessing stakeholder perceptions of policy effectiveness, and identifying barriers to policy implementation. A survey research design is justified to gather data from key stakeholders, including policymakers, educators, and industry leaders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of socio-political influences. A sample size of 200 participants will be purposively selected to represent diverse perspectives from vocational institutions and government agencies in Abuja, chosen for its role as Nigeria's political center. Case studies will highlight policy initiatives and their socio-political contexts, illustrating their impact on vocational education outcomes. Findings indicate that political stability, stakeholder collaboration, and funding priorities significantly influence vocational education policy effectiveness. Recommendations stress the need for evidence-based policy formulation, stakeholder engagement, and sustained advocacy for vocational education as a national development priority.
