Abstract: The integration of robotics and automation technologies is reshaping vocational job requirements and skill sets. This study investigates the impact of robotics and automation on vocational job skills and training needs. The objective is to assess how technological advancements influence curriculum development and skill acquisition in vocational education. A survey research design is utilized, targeting a sample size of 200 vocational instructors and industry professionals in Enugu State, Nigeria. Purposive sampling ensures representation of stakeholders with expertise in robotics integration and vocational training. The case study approach examines vocational programs that have successfully integrated robotics training and their outcomes on student employability. Findings indicate that proficiency in robotics enhances technical competencies, adaptability to technological changes, and job market competitiveness among vocational graduates.
