Abstract: Industry simulations are increasingly employed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world vocational skills. This study assesses the effectiveness of industry simulations in enhancing vocational training outcomes. The objective is to evaluate how simulations replicate authentic workplace environments and improve students' practical skills and problem-solving abilities. A survey research design is utilized, targeting a sample size of 250 vocational students and 30 instructors in technical colleges across Rivers State, Nigeria. Purposive sampling ensures inclusion of participants with direct experience in utilizing industry simulations. The case study method investigates specific simulations implemented in vocational training programs and their impact on student learning outcomes. Findings indicate that realistic scenarios, hands-on experiences, and feedback mechanisms within simulations positively influence skill acquisition and confidence among students. Recommendations advocate for the integration of diverse simulation technologies, continuous instructor training, and alignment of simulation activities with industry standards to maximize vocational training effectiveness.
