This study examines the prevalence of mental health issues among vocational students and evaluates the effectiveness of current support systems. The objectives are: (1) to assess the mental health needs of vocational students, (2) to evaluate the effectiveness of existing mental health support services, and (3) to propose strategies for improving mental health support. A survey research design is utilized to collect data from students and mental health professionals. The sample size includes 250 participants selected through purposive sampling. The case study focuses on vocational institutions in Bayelsa State, known for their student support initiatives.
