Abstract: The effectiveness of online portfolios in showcasing vocational skills is essential for enhancing employability and professional development. This study investigates how online portfolios impact the way vocational students present their skills and experiences to potential employers. The objectives are: (1) to assess the quality and content of online portfolios created by vocational students, (2) to evaluate employer perceptions of online portfolios, and (3) to identify best practices for developing effective online portfolios. A survey research design is utilized, justified by the need to gather detailed feedback from students, educators, and employers. The sample size includes 300 participants selected through purposive sampling. The case study focuses on vocational institutions in Ogun State, known for their emphasis on digital literacy and technology integration. Findings revealed that online portfolios significantly improved students' ability to showcase their skills and experiences, leading to higher employability. However, challenges such as ensuring consistent quality and maintaining up-to-date portfolios were noted. Recommendations included providing training for students on creating effective online portfolios, incorporating portfolio development into the curriculum, and encouraging regular updates to portfolios.
