Abstract: The impact of Industry 4.0 on vocational curriculum development is significant in preparing students for the future workforce. This study examines how the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies influences vocational education curricula and student readiness for emerging job markets. The objectives are: (1) to identify key Industry 4.0 technologies relevant to vocational education, (2) to assess the current state of curriculum integration, and (3) to propose strategies for effective curriculum development. A survey research design is utilized, justified by its ability to collect detailed insights from educators, students, and industry professionals. The sample size includes 300 participants selected through purposive sampling. The case study focuses on vocational institutions in Abuja, a region known for its technological advancements. Findings revealed that incorporating Industry 4.0 technologies such as automation, AI, and IoT significantly enhanced student skills and employability. However, gaps in educator training and curriculum updates were identified. Recommendations included increasing collaboration with industry partners, providing continuous professional development for educators, and integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into all aspects of the curriculum.
