Abstract: Evaluating the impact of cultural competency training on vocational educators is crucial in creating an inclusive and effective learning environment. This study examines how cultural competency training influences educators' ability to manage diverse classrooms and enhance student outcomes. The objectives are: (1) to assess changes in educators' attitudes and practices post-training, (2) to measure the impact on student engagement and performance, and (3) to identify challenges in implementing cultural competency training. A survey research design is used, justified by its effectiveness in gathering detailed perceptions and experiences from educators and students. The sample size consists of 200 vocational educators selected through purposive sampling. The case study focuses on vocational schools in Lagos State, a region known for its cultural diversity. Findings indicated that cultural competency training significantly improved educators' awareness and inclusivity practices, leading to enhanced student engagement and academic performance. However, challenges such as time constraints and resource limitations were noted. Recommendations included ongoing cultural competency training, institutional support for inclusive practices, and the development of culturally responsive curricula.
