Abstract: Promoting inclusivity in technical education for individuals with disabilities is essential for ensuring equal access to educational opportunities and fostering a diverse workforce. This study investigates the challenges and strategies for enhancing inclusivity in technical education for students with disabilities. The objectives are: (1) to identify barriers to participation faced by students with disabilities in technical education, (2) to evaluate the effectiveness of existing inclusive practices, and (3) to propose strategies for improving inclusivity in technical education. A survey research design is utilized, justified by the need to gather insights from students with disabilities, educators, and administrators about their experiences and perspectives on inclusivity. The sample size comprises 300 participants selected through purposive sampling to ensure representation of individuals with diverse disabilities. The case study focuses on technical schools in Ekiti State, which have implemented various inclusive practices. Findings revealed that physical barriers, lack of adaptive technologies, and insufficient support services were significant challenges affecting inclusivity. Despite these challenges, inclusive practices such as individualized learning plans, adaptive technologies, and specialized support services were found to be effective in enhancing participation and learning outcomes for students with disabilities. Recommendations included improving physical infrastructure, increasing investment in adaptive technologies, and providing professional development for educators on inclusive teaching practices.
