Abstract: Integrating project management skills into technical training is essential for preparing students for the complexities of modern workplaces, where effective project management is crucial for successful project execution and career advancement. This study explores strategies for embedding project management competencies within vocational curricula to enhance student readiness for industry demands. The objectives are: (1) to identify effective approaches for incorporating project management training in technical education, (2) to assess the impact of project management skills on student performance and employability, and (3) to evaluate stakeholder perceptions of project management integration in vocational programs. A survey research design is employed, justified by the need to gather comprehensive feedback from educators, students, and industry professionals on the integration process and outcomes. The sample size includes 300 participants selected through purposive sampling to ensure diverse representation from key stakeholders. The case study focuses on technical training institutions in Ogun State, known for their emphasis on practical skills and industry partnerships. Findings revealed that integrating project management skills significantly improved student organizational abilities, team collaboration, and employability prospects. Stakeholders expressed positive views on the integration, highlighting its relevance to industry needs and its potential to bridge the gap between academic training and workplace requirements. Recommendations include developing specialized project management modules, fostering industry-academia collaborations for practical exposure, and providing continuous training for educators to effectively deliver project management content.
