Abstract: This research promotes global citizenship through vocational training in Nigeria, exploring international perspectives, cross-cultural competencies, and global awareness initiatives integrated into vocational education curricula to prepare students for global challenges, cultural diversity, and international careers. Global citizenship in vocational training emphasizes understanding global issues, promoting social responsibility, and fostering global competencies essential for global workforce readiness and sustainable development goals. The study aims to (1) identify strategies and approaches for promoting global citizenship in vocational training, (2) assess perceptions and experiences of educators, international collaborators, and global education advocates regarding the benefits and challenges of global citizenship initiatives, and (3) propose recommendations for integrating global perspectives, enhancing cross-cultural competencies, and fostering international collaborations to cultivate global citizenship values, enhance student employability, and promote global engagement in vocational education in Nigeria. A survey research design is employed to gather insights from vocational educators, international program coordinators, and global citizenship experts familiar with global education practices and outcomes. A sample size of 400 participants will be chosen through purposive sampling to represent vocational educators, international education specialists, and global citizenship advocates in Lagos State. Case studies will examine successful global citizenship programs and their outcomes in promoting intercultural understanding, global competency development, and international collaboration in vocational education. Findings indicated positive impacts of global citizenship initiatives on student perspectives, identified challenges such as cultural barriers and resource limitations, and highlighted effective practices such as international partnerships, multicultural projects, and global awareness campaigns in fostering global citizenship values and preparing vocational students for global careers. Recommendations include curriculum internationalization, global education integration, and cross-cultural training initiatives to enhance global citizenship education, promote student readiness for global challenges, and advance international cooperation in vocational training programs.
