Abstract: This study addresses digital literacy in vocational education programs in Nigeria, exploring the integration of digital skills training to enhance students' technological competencies and employability. Digital literacy is increasingly essential for accessing information, communication, and participating in the digital economy, yet disparities in digital skills persist among vocational students. The research aims to (1) assess current digital literacy levels and training initiatives in vocational education, (2) analyze the impact of digital literacy on vocational students' readiness for employment and career advancement, and (3) propose strategies for integrating comprehensive digital literacy curricula and enhancing digital skill development in vocational training. A survey research design is justified to gather insights from students, educators, and industry professionals. A sample size of 400 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to represent vocational students, digital literacy trainers, and employers in Kwara State. Case studies will highlight effective digital literacy programs and their outcomes. Findings indicated varying levels of digital literacy among students and identified gaps in curriculum integration and training resources. Recommendations include incorporating digital literacy as a core competency, providing specialized training for educators, and partnering with technology firms to enhance vocational students' digital readiness and competitiveness in the digital economy.
