Abstract: This research explores strategies for integrating soft skills development into vocational education curricula in Nigeria. While technical skills are crucial, employers increasingly emphasize the importance of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and critical thinking in the workplace. The study aims to (1) identify key soft skills demanded by employers in vocational sectors, (2) evaluate current approaches and challenges in teaching soft skills, and (3) propose effective strategies for curriculum integration. A survey research design is chosen to gather insights from educators, employers, and vocational graduates. A sample size of 400 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to represent diverse vocational institutions and industries in Enugu State. Case studies will highlight successful implementations and contextual factors influencing outcomes. Findings indicated a growing demand for soft skills among employers but identified challenges such as limited instructional resources and traditional teaching methodologies. Recommendations include integrating experiential learning opportunities, embedding soft skills within technical courses, and providing professional development for educators to effectively teach and assess soft skills.
