ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to examine the impact of information technology on the secretarial profession. The study specifically examined effect do modern technology have on the secretary’s job in an organization. Adoping the survey method of research design, the study enrolled a total of 31 respondents from the NNPC Kaduna. The result of the study showed that modern technology has affected the secretarial profession. Modern technologies has increased speed for productivity, created multi-faceted functions, and provide accurate data. Furthermore, on a good point average, secretaries currently have adjusted to the use of modern technologies and are getting effective with it. Finally, the findings shows that modern technologies have increased secretaries’ productivity and performance.
