To achieve this 5research objectives were formulated. The survey design was adopted and the simple random sampling techniques were employed in this study. The population size comprise of all the staff of Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC) Kaduna plant. In determining the sample size, the researcher conveniently selected 65 respondents while 50 respondents were validated. Self-constructed and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using mean and standard deviation formula. The result of the findings reveals that the methods of inspection adopted in NBC in achieving quality output include;visual testing/inspection, random sampling inspection, 100% inspection, sub-surface inspection and classification inspection. While the Quality control department and the top management is responsible for inspection in NBC. The study also disclosed that inspection has contributed immensely to the success of the organization in achieving quality materials as; the delivery of quality raw materials by supplier help in achieving quality output, the ability to detect poor quality raw materials differentiate NBC from others, cost associated with poor quality product is eliminated, the acquisition of quality product by the purchaser is facilitated by the cognizance of inspection activities put in place in NBC, and input of quality raw material to the production process contributed in achieving quality product. More so, there are numerous ways through which quality of raw materials affects production process among which include; quality of raw material helps in differentiating product, quality control helps in improving production process, raw materials are vital in enhancing quality product, production process impact standardization in NBC and quality output is achieved.
