ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to examine thethe united nation and the Arabic-Israeli conflicts (1948 – 1973). Specifically, the study examine the emergence of the Arab - Israeli conflicts, find out the role played by the united nations during the Arab - Israaeli conflicts and investigate the effects of the Arab - Israeli conflicts on the middle east. The findings revealed that the Arab- Israeli conflict emerged due to the creation of state for the Jews in the middle east. The study also found out that the conflict had an effect on their health, economic and their psychological. The study thereby recommend that the importance of providing secondary prevention and mental health treatment across the middle east region and clinical settings to address the growing numbers of post-traumatic stress symptoms and “related distress” among resident of the middle east.
