Based on the findings, the researcher recommended that there is need to influence people’s behaviour toward waste issues through a carefully planned engagement strategy. This needs to focus holistically on increasing awareness of waste issues, the importance and ways of preventing waste, plus information on how to compost and the benefits. And more so, the government should through statistical measures limit the number of tricycles to a certain number that will serve the residents adequately and not allowing surplus flow of tricycles in the city.
