Abstract
This work assess the prevalence of malaria parasite infections among school aged children a case study of Ojah Primary School, Ibillo Akoko-Edo, Edo State. Three research questions and objectives were formulated on the course of this research work. The descriptive research design were used and the sample drawn from the population were eighty (80) pupils and ten (10) teacher’s thus the finds shows that the prevalence of malaria infection amongst Pupils is very high and many of the pupils are misinformed about predisposing factors. Environmental factors are also responsible of high rate of malaria. These findings provide base-line information for evidence-based planning and implementation of malaria control activities in the school by the management.
