Headlines should be cast in ways consistent with the profession’s ethics. Adherence to media code of ethics, choosing words carefully to present news such that it is not skewed, avoidance of bias in reporting and above all presenting reports within appropriate contexts as defined by statutes, legality, evidence, obligation and responsibility.
