Background of the Study

In Lapai Local Government Area, Niger State, technical education programs have emerged as critical interventions aimed at diversifying the local economy and reducing dependency on traditional sectors. These programs emphasize vocational training and practical skill development, providing graduates with competencies that are directly applicable to modern industries. Recent initiatives in Lapai have led to the establishment of technical training centers that offer courses in areas such as mechanics, computer technology, and electrical engineering (Suleiman, 2023).
