ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to examine motivation and job satisfaction among secretaries as administrators in skyland travels and tour in Ikeja Local Government, Lagos State. Specifically, the study examined who a secretary is as an  administrator. what the duties of  a secretary an administrator is all about. To examine how motivation can improve the work of an administrator.  probable ways the work of an administrator  can be made easy.

 in Ikeja Local Government, Lagos State. The study employed the survey descriptive research design. A total of 30 responses were validated from the survey. From the responses obtained and analysed, the findings revealed that There are duties of  a secretary as an administrator is all about. Also, motivation can improve the work of an administrator.  And That there are  probable ways the work of an administrator  can be made easy.The study recommend that there is need for motivational incentive  care for administrative secretaries  at all times to help meet with their  needs.  Also, There should be systems for recognition and appreciation for administrative secretaries   in order to motivate the staff to work effectively.  And finally, Corporate organizations should ensure that there is an adequate provision and availability of motivational incentives  to help boost workers’ performance.
