ABSTRACT
This study focused on the effects of large family size on the education of the child, Cross River State as case study. The study is was specifically focused on identifying those factors that favor large family size in Vandeikya local government area; identifying the effects of large family on the education of the Vandeikya child; identifying measures that can ensure the smooth education of the child from a large family size and making recommendations and suggestions on the effects of large family size on education in Vandeikya local government area. The study adopted the survey research design and randomly enrolled participants in the study. A total of 100 responses were validated from the enrolled participants where all respondent are teachers in Vandeikya local government area.
