Background of the Study
Digital visualization has emerged as a critical tool in the field of construction project management, enabling stakeholders to better understand, plan, and execute complex projects. At Kaduna Polytechnic in Kaduna State, the application of advanced digital visualization techniques—such as 3D modeling, virtual walkthroughs, and interactive schematics—is being analyzed to assess its impact on project management processes. By transforming traditional blueprints and static plans into dynamic, interactive visual models, digital visualization enhances communication among engineers, architects, and contractors (Ibrahim, 2023). This technology facilitates a more comprehensive view of project timelines, resource allocation, and potential bottlenecks, thereby reducing errors and streamlining workflows. The visualization tools allow project managers to simulate construction processes and identify challenges before actual execution, leading to more informed decision-making. Recent studies suggest that such digital interventions can significantly improve project outcomes by enhancing collaboration and reducing delays (Chinwe, 2024). The implementation of these tools at Kaduna Polytechnic is particularly relevant in a rapidly evolving construction industry where efficiency and precision are paramount. The research will examine how digital visualization impacts overall project management, from initial planning to final execution, and will evaluate user satisfaction among project teams. By bridging the gap between theoretical planning and practical execution, digital visualization is poised to become a standard in modern construction project management, improving both cost-effectiveness and quality control.

Statement of the Problem
Traditional construction project management often relies on two-dimensional drawings and manual planning methods that lack the depth and interactivity necessary for managing complex projects. At Kaduna Polytechnic, this outdated approach has led to communication gaps, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen project delays (Ibrahim, 2023). Without dynamic visualization, project teams struggle to identify potential issues early in the planning phase, resulting in costly revisions and resource wastage. Although digital visualization offers a promising solution by providing interactive 3D models and real-time data analytics, its adoption in the local construction sector has been limited by technical constraints and resistance to change among stakeholders (Chinwe, 2024). Challenges such as high initial investment costs, inadequate training, and software compatibility issues further hinder the effective integration of these technologies. This study seeks to analyze the impact of digital visualization tools on construction project management at Kaduna Polytechnic, investigating how they can enhance collaboration, improve planning accuracy, and streamline project execution. By collecting quantitative and qualitative data from project managers and team members, the research will assess the benefits and obstacles associated with digital visualization. The findings aim to provide a framework for optimizing these tools to achieve better project outcomes and cost savings, thereby fostering a more efficient construction management process.

Objectives of the Study
• To evaluate the impact of digital visualization on construction project management.
• To assess improvements in planning accuracy and team collaboration.
• To identify and propose strategies to overcome technical challenges.

Research Questions
• How does digital visualization improve project planning and execution?
• What benefits are observed in team communication and collaboration?
• What challenges hinder its adoption and how can they be resolved?

Significance of the Study
This study is significant as it provides critical insights into the use of digital visualization in construction project management, offering practical solutions to improve planning, reduce delays, and enhance cost-effectiveness (Ibrahim, 2023). The findings will aid industry professionals and educational institutions in adopting advanced visualization techniques, thereby improving overall project outcomes (Chinwe, 2024).

Scope and Limitations of the Study
The study is limited to the analysis of digital visualization tools in construction project management at Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State. It focuses on visual techniques and does not extend to other project management software or methodologies.

Definitions of Terms
