Background of the study
Virtual classrooms have gained popularity as an alternative to traditional face-to-face learning, especially with the rise of digital technologies and remote education. These platforms enable students to engage with course content, interact with teachers, and collaborate with peers from remote locations. However, many virtual classrooms still face challenges related to engagement, accessibility, and the effective delivery of lessons. Artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to optimize virtual classroom experiences by personalizing learning, analyzing student behavior, and recommending resources based on individual needs. This study aims to explore the optimization of AI-powered virtual classrooms in secondary schools in Misau LGA, Bauchi State, to improve student learning outcomes and engagement in a digital learning environment.
Statement of the problem
In Misau LGA, Bauchi State, secondary schools are increasingly adopting virtual classrooms, but many face difficulties in ensuring that these platforms are used effectively. Issues such as low student engagement, difficulty in assessing individual learning progress, and lack of personalized learning experiences hinder the effectiveness of virtual education.
