Background of the Study
E-learning platforms have become an essential part of the education system, providing students with flexible and accessible learning experiences. In Lokoja Local Government Area, Kogi State, secondary schools have increasingly relied on e-learning platforms to enhance the educational experience, especially during the pandemic and beyond. However, the delivery of digital content through these platforms is often hindered by issues such as slow content loading, difficulty in content access, and inefficiencies in resource management (Sulaimon & Abdulrahman, 2024).
Optimizing digital content delivery in e-learning platforms is crucial for ensuring that students have consistent and efficient access to learning materials. Addressing issues like slow download speeds, improper content formats, and inadequate server capacity will enhance the overall functionality of the e-learning platforms, improving both teaching and learning outcomes in Lokoja’s secondary schools.
Statement of the Problem
While e-learning platforms in secondary schools in Lokoja have seen increased adoption, challenges related to digital content delivery persist. These issues include slow content loading, inconsistent access to materials, and limited server capacity, which negatively impact the learning experience. This study aims to investigate how the digital content delivery systems in these platforms can be optimized to improve access and usability.
