Background of the Study

Keyboarding abilities are described as the ability of office managers to enter information into the computer's memory with the least amount of effort and energy. Office managers, according to Hames (2000), can be deemed good keyboard users if they can precisely enter data into the computer's memory in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of energy, and with a high degree of consistency and adaptability.

The ability to type is a lifelong talent. It has progressed from a transcription typing skill, in which office managers wrote handwritten messages, to a generative typing talent, in which the user composes original thinking at the keyboard (Cooper, 1983). Progress and development in technology have not resulted in more information being made available or easier to access, but it has increased the pressure on computer user-office managers to develop skills (such as keyboarding skill) in order to best utilize good business transactions and improve communication, such as using e-mail to interact with customers using a keyboard.

When living in such a computer-centric environment, being able to engage effectively and efficiently through well-developed keyboarding abilities is critical to success. Typing has become an integral part of our daily lives, and keyboarding is no longer a routine for transferring ideas from scribble to print, unlike in the past when Cooper was considered a talent that guaranteed a manageria position for typing someone else's letter. Typing has become an integral part of our daily lives, and keyboarding is no longer a routine for transferring ideas from scribble to print. At work, the average computer user spends at least 2.4 hours each day actively computing. 2007 (Usernomics).

The most common types of computer hardware processing that help the user write and edit memos, letters, and reports data management programs that require office managers to use a long list of data and spreadsheet programs that handle tables and numbers are known as keyboard, mouse, and keyboard, mouse, and mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse (Isosoki, 2000). These abilities have now been acquired by office managers in order to make their work easier and to improve competence and productivity, resulting in improved access to goods and services. In the delivery of service in commercial businesses, current computer technologies are largely controlled by keyboard input.

Business enterprises exist to pursue a certain aim or set of objectives. Office managers are entire people who are influenced by external elements such as trade associations, political organizations, and so on. They are citizen members of the system in any business and may essentially impact demand and supply. As a result, it is claimed that office managers are distinctive in their own right, that they perform critical tasks that need a different degree of knowledge and abilities, and that it is thus critical for office managers to identify these distinctions.

As a result, effective keyboarding abilities among office managers provide good qualities in both typing out figures including customers' information for documentation and creating error-free business letters, memos, transcripts, and other documents in any commercial firm. Coercion is bred by keyboarding skills, which ensures organizational and industry efficiency, which leads to organizational success. As a result, any organization with a management who lacks keyboarding abilities would have a tough time achieving her desired goals.
