Background of the Study
Digital badges are a form of recognition for the achievement of specific skills, knowledge, or competencies, often awarded through online platforms. These badges serve as a modern alternative to traditional certifications, providing students with a tangible, verifiable indicator of their accomplishments. In education, digital badges are increasingly being used to assess skills beyond academic performance, such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
