BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Studies on entrepreneurship in higher education have recently been conducted on a number of occasions during the Covid-19 pandemic. These studies have taken the form of discussions, seminars, and workshops, and they have even been used to draw conclusions and draw lessons by presenting "alumni" success figures in entrepreneurship and by benchmarking. In the process of implementing entrepreneurship education in tertiary institutions, we have come up against a number of challenges. These challenges include the problem of unemployment as well as the challenge of creating employment opportunities, which is one of the most fundamental obstacles to the progress of the nation (Wiratno, 2012).
The high unemployment rate in the globe as a consequence of more challenging occupations, particularly in large cities, presents a challenge for the process of national development (Setiawan & Sukanti, 2016). This is the hurdle that must be overcome. According to the findings of surveys conducted as part of the Population Inter-Census (SUPAS), the population of Indonesia in the year 2020 reached as high as 269.6 million residents, while the number of individuals who were jobless reached 7 million people as of August 2019. It is considered that there are elements that play a role in it, such as the fact that the competence abilities of college graduates still satisfy the demands of the labor market, and that they are more dominating in hunting for employment than generating jobs (Wiratno, 2012). According to the findings of Sucipto and Nasution's (2017) study on the topic of poverty reduction and unemployment, the role that young people play is regarded to be significant and has a beneficial impact, namely in the form of entrepreneurialism.
According to Benjamin Franklin's statements in Santosa (2014), the role of young people in the realm of entrepreneurship is one that is both very important and vital. Where students make up a significant portion of the young population, the foundation for the growth of a range of problem-solving national institutions, such as those that offer employment opportunities for others, is established. In addition to developing the national education curriculum that includes entrepreneurship as a required subject for all academic majors in high schools and colleges, the government also provided students with several opportunities to participate in program creation for entrepreneurs. Students in tertiary institutions, particularly graduate students and students majoring in nursing due to the fact that entrepreneurship courses are the core curriculum of the Nursing profession, are obligated to make effective use of the government's previous efforts in the field of entrepreneurship through the programs that have been implemented by the government.
Not only a registration certificate (STR), but also an inadequate salary and a greater threat, specifically the use of appropriate technology by health service owners as a form of efficiency, has become the primary focus of discussion in modern times. The issue of high unemployment in the nursing profession has become the primary topic of discussion today. Then, it is incontestable that a "flood" of graduate nursing staff is produced each year, both privately and from educational institutions located throughout the nation, and that it is a factor that contributes to the rate of unemployment. According to information provided by the Head of the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers, there are at least 28,000 nursing graduates who are unable to find work each year. Furthermore, according to information provided by the PPNI report, there were 359,339 nurses who had registered with the organization as members as of April 2017 (Data and Information Center of the Ministry of Health, 2017). According to the policy of the government, health workers who already possess a Registration Certificate (STR) are the only ones who can perform health service activities and work. However, a STR can be obtained by each health worker if they have a certificate and competency test certificate, which are awarded to students who successfully complete an education program exam and a competency test. The high unemployment rate in the nursing field is impacted by recent graduates of the nursing profession who do not have STR.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
On the basis of the phenomenon that it is a nurse's responsibility to seek out solutions, alternatives, and opportunities of work in order to become an entrepreneur or an entrepreneur in the field of health, chances of employment of nurses in fields such as palliative care / home care, counseling nursing, training of caregivers, training care of children, care f I sioterapi, training nursing, complementary therapy home, healthy food culinary, etc. It is a golden chance for the health of the workforce, particularly of the nurses. With the potential expertise of academic and entrepreneurial ventures such as these, educational institutions that focus on health care are truly in a position to arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship in their student bodies ( Maryati , 2015). As a result, it is essential for a graduate nurse to have received training in entrepreneurship throughout her time in higher education, and it is intended that she will be prepared to take chances, gain new skills, and adopt new work styles in order to adapt to changes (Panjic et al , 2018).

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This study contributes to nursing knowledge by examining the entrepreneurial spirit in the nursing profession. It will also serve as a reminder to nurses about the need to embrace entrepreneurship in the nursing profession.
Nurse leaders may utilize the data to enhance their practices, and organizations can use the data to develop and and educate nurses under them about entrepreneurship in the nursing profession and likely challenges to be encountered.
Finally, this study will serve as an additional material for further research and future reference.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
This study focuses on the entrepreneurial spirit among nurses: a tool for professional development. Specifically, this study focuses on determining whether nurses education, experience, and passion ignites their Entrepreneurial spirit, determining whether nurses entrepreneurial spirit enables them to acquire strong leadership skills required for their professional development, determining whether nurses entrepreneurial spirit enables them to acquire analytical competence required for their professional development, determining whether nurses entrepreneurial spirit enables them to acquire communication competence required for their professional development and determining whether nurses entrepreneurial spirit enables them to apply their skills independently.
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
In the course of carrying out this study, the researcher experienced some constraints, which included time constraints, financial constraints, language barriers, and the attitude of the respondents. However, the researcher were able to manage these just to ensure the success of this study.
Moreover, the case study method utilized in the study posed some challenges to the investigator including the possibility of biases and poor judgment of issues. However, the investigator relied on respect for the general principles of procedures, justice, fairness, objectivity in observation and recording, and weighing of evidence to overcome the challenges.
