Background of the Study
Voter education is essential to ensuring that citizens, especially women, are aware of their rights and responsibilities in the electoral process. In Bida, Niger State, various initiatives have aimed at educating female voters on how to participate effectively in elections. This study seeks to assess the impact of female voter education programs on election outcomes, particularly focusing on how such programs influence women’s voting behavior and their political engagement.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
Despite improvements in voter education, women in Bida still face challenges in fully participating in the electoral process. These challenges include lack of information, social barriers, and cultural norms that limit their engagement.
