Background of the Study

Political ideologies have a profound effect on voter behavior, shaping their preferences during elections. In Akure LGA, Ondo State, the interplay of political ideologies and voter choices reflects the broader political environment in Nigeria, where ideologies often intersect with ethnic, religious, and economic considerations (Adeyemo & Olatunji, 2023).
