Political corruption has long been a challenge in Nigeria, undermining public trust in governance and affecting the legitimacy of political institutions. In Kano LGA, Kano State, corruption in local government administration has been cited as a key factor contributing to low public confidence in elected officials and governance structures (Aliyu & Abdullahi, 2023).
