Chapter One: Introduction

Government-citizen engagement is essential for fostering trust, transparency, and accountability in governance. Corporate communication serves as a bridge between governments and citizens, ensuring the dissemination of accurate information, addressing public concerns, and promoting participatory governance. In Shira Local Government Area, Bauchi State, ineffective communication strategies often hinder meaningful engagement, leading to mistrust and low civic participation.
