Chapter One: Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Change management is a critical aspect of organizational growth and development. It involves preparing, supporting, and helping individuals, teams, and organizations navigate through changes in processes, technologies, or organizational structure. In Dikwa Local Government Area, Borno State, organizations face unique challenges in implementing change due to factors such as limited resources, resistance to change, and communication barriers. Corporate communication plays a pivotal role in facilitating effective change management by ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, involved, and motivated throughout the process. This study examines how corporate communication strategies can support change management efforts in Dikwa, focusing on how communication can reduce resistance to change, enhance employee buy-in, and ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.

1.2 Statement of the Problem

1.6 Significance of the Study
