Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Youth empowerment is a critical factor in promoting social and economic development, particularly in urban areas where young people often face challenges such as unemployment, limited educational opportunities, and lack of access to resources. In Katagum Local Government Area, Bauchi State, digital media has emerged as a vital tool for empowering urban youth by providing platforms for skills development, entrepreneurship, and networking. 1.2 Statement of the Problem
