Background of the Study

Agro-processing businesses play a crucial role in transforming raw agricultural products into finished goods, contributing to economic development, food security, and employment in Jalingo LGA. Effective financial accounting is essential for these businesses to manage costs, track revenues, and plan for growth. This study aims to explore how financial accounting practices influence the performance and sustainability of agro-processing businesses in Jalingo LGA.

Statement of the Problem

Many agro-processing businesses in Jalingo LGA face challenges related to poor financial management, including inaccurate record-keeping, lack of proper budgeting, and inadequate financial planning.
