Background of the Study
Traditional medicine has long been a cornerstone of healthcare systems, particularly in rural communities where access to modern healthcare is limited. Public relations (PR) plays a crucial role in promoting traditional medicine by creating awareness, addressing misconceptions, and engaging stakeholders. In Barkin Ladi Local Government Area (LGA), Plateau State, traditional medicine remains a vital part of healthcare delivery. However, its acceptance and integration into broader healthcare systems face challenges such as skepticism, lack of regulation, and limited public awareness.
