Background of the Study

In local government areas, budgetary participation is often seen as an essential tool for ensuring that the budget reflects the needs and priorities of the staff and the community. Research Hypothesis

  1. H₀: Budgetary participation does not significantly enhance staff performance in Pankshin LGA.
  2. H₀: There is no significant relationship between budgetary participation and staff performance in Pankshin LGA.
  3. H₀: Challenges in budgetary participation do not significantly affect staff performance in Pankshin LGA.

Significance of the Study

This study will provide valuable insights into the potential benefits of budgetary participation for improving staff motivation and performance in local government areas like Pankshin.
