Background of the Study

Break-even analysis is a financial tool used to determine the level of sales needed to cover total fixed and variable costs. For small enterprises in Gwale LGA, understanding the break-even point is essential for making informed decisions about pricing, production, and marketing strategies. Break-even analysis helps small businesses assess whether their operations are profitable, and it guides them in managing risks associated with fluctuating costs and revenues. This study assesses the application of break-even analysis in small enterprises in Gwale LGA and its impact on decision-making and profitability.
