Background of the Study
Cash flow forecasting is a critical tool for managing the financial health of agricultural cooperatives. In Kaduna North LGA, agricultural cooperatives play a vital role in improving the livelihoods of farmers by providing them with resources, knowledge, and market access. However, many cooperatives face challenges in managing cash flow due to seasonal fluctuations, poor financial planning, and inadequate forecasting techniques. This study will assess the effect of cash flow forecasting on the sustainability of agricultural cooperatives in Kaduna North LGA, aiming to provide recommendations for improving financial planning and management.
Statement of the Problem
Agricultural cooperatives in Kaduna North LGA often experience financial instability due to poor cash flow management. The lack of accurate cash flow forecasting leads to difficulties in meeting operational expenses and financing new projects. Despite the importance of cash flow forecasting, many cooperatives lack the necessary tools and expertise to implement effective forecasting techniques.
